Hot tub time machine does not try to be a movie that it is not. Right off the title you know their will be a hot tub and their will be some time travel. The scientific reason of why the hot tub takes you back in time is never really explain in detail but honestly do you  want them to? Hot Tub Time Machine follows three friends whom, are down in their luck, go back in the 80’s thanks to a hot tub.

Great cast, John Cusack is great  in this movie. With him in so many classic 80’s movie it’s fun to see him back in the 80’s playing the same type character he does so well. Craig Robinson is also great. He has some of the best lines in the movie.

Very funny movie. A great mix of one liners, physical humor, and raunchy humor.  I’m a bit surprised the movie is not an hour-long joke of the 80’s. The 80’s jokes are kept to a minimum. My only complain about this movie is that many times throughout the movie they will out of their way to do the raunchy joke. While, some of those jokes are really funny. I just found some of those jokes are really off-putting since they really go out of their way to dumb dick joke. The movie is short that none of the jokes get played out.

Easily Hot Tub Hot machine is the funniest movie I seen all year. Well worth the rental, and perhaps even worth buying it if you want some silly movie to see now and then.I give it 4 out of 5 stars.
